A re-useable super absorbent fibre
So Absorbent can absorb up to 150 times its weight in fluid. It has an extremely high capacity for water absorption and retention, even under pressure, and the rate of absorbency is extremely fast - 70% of maximum absorption is achieved within 10 seconds.
It is completely re-useable, being able to return almost to its original state after drying out. It is stable to both heat and light, and is practically insoluble in water and most organic solvents.
There are no special requirements for toxicological care. So Absorbent is easily processed on regular textile machinery, and in addition it has numerous
non-woven applications.
